The backdrop is a raging civil war between two Kree factions, the Utopians and the Imperialists, while both the factions are at war with the Skrulls. Gamora is nudging the crew (of the Bowie, not the Milano) towards become a family instead of galaxy guardians, but Star Lord and a mellowed down rocket escape on an adventure only to run into the powerful Olympian gods that have reappeared. After running into a gauntlet of gods including Artemis and Hephaestus, Zeus kills Star Lord with a black hole bomb, galvanizing Gamora into fighting to protect the Galaxy again. Continue
